Interactive Live Zoom Workshops

Join Tracey live online to create beautiful silver jewellery. The classes run using the Zoom platform.

How it Works

  • You sign up & pay your full fee in advance
  • Once you have registered for the class, you will be sent further information to make sure you are fully prepared on the day including a full list of tools & materials required.
  • We will also send you the Zoom login details & recommend that you sign in approx. 15 minutes before the start of the class as this will give us enough time to make sure you are properly connected & that you can see Tracey's workspace.
  • In order for you to see things clearly you should join the class on a device with a good sized screen. Smart phones are not recommended as the screen will be too small to see the finer detail. We recommend a tablet or, even better, a laptop or desktop computer.
  • Please ensure there is no background noise as this can be uncomfortable and distracting for other participants (e.g. TV, radio, other people talking, etc).
  • The workshops will open with a short introduction before we quickly get down into the demonstrations and the class.
  • You will watch a demonstration of a set task or technique, then we will open for Q&As. You will then be given time to replicate the given task. This model will be repeated throughout the workshop.
  • The workshop will finish no later than the set time but may finish early once the demo and Q&As are completed.

Terms & Conditions

  • All classes will start promptly at the designated time & we will not accept any latecomers as this would be disruptive to the other learners.
  • All class times are UK time unless otherwise stated.
  • Once you have paid for the class & we have sent you the workshop notes, tools & materials, etc., your fee is non-refundable.
  • We cannot be held responsible if you experience any technical difficulties due to poor internet connection. Please make sure you know how to connect to Zoom & how to view and pin the screens.
  • If, for any reason, a learner misses the interactive live online workshop, we will offer to roll their registration over to the next available interactive live workshop.

A fidget spinner ring is two rings in one, an inner band with an outer band that will spin easily and freely. These rings are comfortable, full of motion and lots of fun to wear and spin. The spinning band can vary from a simple round band to a gemstone studded, textured or even intricately shaped band.
In this class we will cover two different techniques and approaches to create this style of ring in silver clay. You will use approximately 20g of Art Clay Silver which will need to be purchased in advance of the class.

The elegant sinuous lines and forms of the Art Nouveau style pendant was seen throughout Europe and the United States in the early 1900’s but is still in vogue today. With a touch of this timeless beauty, the interlinked and entwined sections give a wired wrap effect.

We will cover many tips for creating this in metal clay with many options to customise your own design such as adding cabochons and faceted gemstones to punctuate the piece.

In a Spin

Friday 9th July
1.00pm - 8.00pm

(UK Time)
£75

Lampwork beads take a long time to create and many are works of art. This class is designed so you can create a feature of your own stunning lampwork or silver clay bead surrounded by a silver frame, to help make your bead really stand out from the crowd. The bead will sit inside the hollow frame but suspended by a hidden and clever method so it can still move and spin on its axis. You will be guided step by step through the process, to make your own unique designed piece to compliment your beads.

This is an intermediate level project so some silver clay experience will be an advantage. The class will require a minimum of 25g of Art Clay Silver 999 to make the suggested size project which learners will need to purchase in advance of the class. If you decide to go bigger or with your design, you will need to purchase more than 25g of clay.
Learners will also need to purchase a hinge pin which is available from our online store by clicking here.
Also required is an axis pin which can be found in our online store by clicking here.

Create a stunning elegant pendant with a main focal element filled with a dancing play of light from either Abalone shell or variegated gold leaf. The convex dome of resin adds to the lens & magnifies the effect of the main feature.

The elegant coils frame the piece with the addition of a couple of faceted fireable gems to offer support. This small but stunning theatrical piece will create lots of attention.
