Moulds, Textures & More - Beginners - intermediate

Once you understand the basics of working with metal clay, creating your own moulds and texture plates can be fun and is easy to do.

During this one day workshop we will use different materials to create different types of moulds. We will also cover different methods of creating your own unique texture plates. We will show you how to make your own templates and stencils and how to use them to best effect.

Dive into the Craftworx treasure trove of trinkets to select your own theme, or bring your own "bits" to learn the secrets to making and taking perfect moulds for faithful reproductions in fine silver.

Opt to follow our suggested project task for you to make into a ring or pendent that will optimise use of the texture plates and moulds you make. The construction methods included in the workshop will move your skills on as well.

20g of clay will be supplied along with all the other materials needed for the workshop as well as a suggested project task.
